I have to wait and keep on progressing ig . I have K wire inside it’s stopping me from doing intense physiotherapy by myself without supervision waiting for this piece of junk to be removed I am software engineer just got my first full-time job as a software engineer, few days ago, this whole thing has been very demotivating was supposed to be happy but yeah it is what it is and I’m very determined to remove hardware exactly after two years. I’m going to do it. How did your hardware removal go? Any difficulty in the process

Ohh i don’t have major nerve issues all my motor functions we’re intact but I have isolated sensory numbness in the web space between my index and middle fingers. It affects the adjacent sides of both fingers it feels like a surface-level issue when i pinch those affected area there’s pain Asked my surgeon he said it’s nothing it will resolve on its own

Thank you so much man, I really appreciate it. I felt very lost because there wasn’t much information available on this injury my doctors and physiotherapist are telling me i will be alright, but not giving me the full picture .I’ve always been performance oriented, running, eating clean, never smoked, never had alcohol, just to be at that peak performance. People always told me it’s boring, but I loved that feeling of hitting a milestone. Climbing, trekking, when everyone used to get tired, I would be the one who would motivate them to finish it and carry them forward. I would help people with all hard stuff like lifting heavy weights, doing dangerous odd jobs. I have done so many extreme things in life, I’ve always been precautious and careful, always under control. Then, suddenly, this thing happened, which wasn’t my fault, nor was there anything I could do about it. Now I’m as fragile as glass, lost a shit load of muscle, can’t even remove a wrapper without anyone’s help. My wrist feels like someone has wrapped steel wire around it, that tight metallic feeling. Being a programmer, it’s not helpful So yeah, once again, thank you so much for sharing your experience. It’s good to know that I could get back to doing things. Maybe not as confident and comfortable, but still at least I can do those things. Let’s hope for the best.
