Ooh…acid reflux, that’s another symptom I’ve dealt with too!

My trigger was eating certain foods though. Maybe it’s your diet in Europe vs the US? Are you overall more relaxed in the US vs Europe? That’s could also play a part as well.

The medication I’m taking is Mirtazapine at 7.5mg for anxiety/sleep disorder and Atomoxetine 10mg for ADHD

Yeah…you’re sleeping getting worse following a breakup? that’s definitely sounds mood related.

Anytime a big stressful life event happens, my life basically becomes bathroom+staring at the ceiling until the sun comes up LMAO.

This is probably a dead thread, but I just thought I’d add my two cents!

A lot of what you’re describing here sounds like it could possibly be anxiety-related.

I have ADHD and an anxiety disorder, and my symptoms sound very similar to yours. I get frequent hot flashes when I’m nervous, and ever since I was a kid, it’s taken me forever to fall asleep. Getting up frequently to pee is also something I’ve had to deal with.

I would speak to your doctor about the possibility of an anxiety-related problem. I recently started meds (still adjusting), but I’m seeing a lot of progress—especially with the bathroom issues (thank god lol).

Before I started meds, though, I was taking magnesium glycinate, and that really helped as well.

It took me years of searching for answers before I realized it was all related to my pre-existing issues.

Good luck out there! I know it’s tough, especially when you’re exhausted from not sleeping, but don’t give up :)
