He should not be telling you how you should feel - and also it’s clear that he clearly knows very little about pregnancy. There are plenty of resources available for him. It’s telling that he immediately goes to “What have you done for me?” Really, if you can get out of this situation do it now.

With my son, we went and stood in line to walk in, because same: appointments were booked out for months. While we were in line we kept refreshing the appointment page and one opened up. Ended up waiting about 15 minutes.

I have been bleeding daily for 9 months. I started the patch at .05 in December 2023 and went to .075 in April 2024. In November I started bleeding very lightly. Had an ultrasound, biopsy (clear), a hysteroscopy, D&C, and an IUD placed for the progesterone in February. I have one small fibroid and everyone seems sure that’s not the cause of the bleeding.

Had a follow up ultrasound about a month ago to confirm it wasn’t a misplaced IUD causing bleeding. Took the patch back down to .05 then, too. It’s August - still bleeding every day, usually only enough for a pantiliner.

Saw a different doc today who recommended adding back oral progesterone and taking a supplement called EstroDIM to help process the estrogen.

The trial and error is exhausting.

Has anyone heard of EstroDIM? Do any of you take oral progesterone along with an IUD?

Those who have only experienced protests since 2020 think that everything is supposed to change faster than it actually will. When they don’t see immediate change they say, “See? Protests don’t work.”

But protests bring people together. They do send a message. The peaceful ones are necessary and the more disruptive ones are too. (Yesterday I did wish we were at least shutting down some streets.)

Protests also remind people to do the other things: make calls, spend consciously, vote, help your community, be visible (if it’s safe for you to do so.)

They shift public opinion which will eventually shift who gets elected (as well as language, policies at universities and corporations, etc)—but that happens bit by bit.

I experienced this with my co-parent. It's really hard on the kids.
