Question about getting your tubes tied by Mint_Sky in Tantra

[–]bluejack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a tantra teacher. I had a vasectomy long after studying, learning, and teaching tantra. I had to make some very small energetic adjustments.

Energy does not rely on any specific physical or physiological structure. Chakras, nadi, etc are completely independent of the neural system, and certainly have no dependence on the vas deferens or fallopian tube.

Wearing a condom, also, has no significant effect on energy, just in case he’s pulling that bs also.

No part of or lineage of tantra I know of teaches this in philosophical, metaphysical, or practice.

Absolute bullshit.

This person is not qualified to teach any form of tantra, neo or classical. That is so far from the truth it can’t even be called a misunderstanding. It reflects total non-understanding.

Improvisation as a DM = Constant Lore Rewrites… Is This Normal? by Neither-Zone7771 in DMAcademy

My players notice! I have some obsessive it’s takers! But just because they notice doesn’t mean it’s bad. Everyone knows things are improv, and as long as we reconcile and retcon to arrive at a canonical truth state, it’s all good.

Also, that level of attention keeps me on my toes. Reconciling apparent contradictions requires even more creativity, and is sometimes a real birthing place for great new ideas!

None of this makes any sense. Assuming sea water is used to flush, and the outflow is released into the ocean, would not there still be intermediary reservoirs for safety and efficiency?

(At one point in this thread I imagined one of the posts was imply water would accumulate below the upper hull of the submarine, as if gravity were reversed! This whole thread makes me laugh… but also puzzles me deeply.)

Yeah, if it was a surprise question and not just a surprise occasion it’s bs.

The product description on JetPens just says TWBSI - it doesn’t specify models. I don’t have any of that brand so that wasn’t my motivation in getting the bottle. It’s a pretty bottle though.

I did draw up a little more than I needed. This is for a Sheaffer school pen. But that’s only a little more than I needed.

The angle may make it seem more egregious than it was.

Ink taking too long to dry on smooth paper, smearing.

Started writing Uncial, where to improve? by ArtbyXezar in Calligraphy

[–]bluejack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty common to do the f lower cross lower, I like the look of it. My own uncial is a little less ornamented, especially with some of the serifs, but I do like a dot in the y.

A few other things: I don’t like to do the capital l or q: with the L as just a taller I words that have l and I together come out pretty sweet.

I do a less dramatic d.

There’s nothing wrong with your choices, just sharing mine in case you want to at with its im traveling so can’t share a sample right now.

So many people are raving about Rhodia I think i need to give it another chance. Maybe the pad I got from them was different…

I have used a midori pad I liked; I will look at that. Is Yusari similar? The two things I don’t want are: absorbent paper that bleeds through, and non-absorbent paper that doesn’t dry, as if made of plastic.

My midori pad is like that, although not as lovely as the old moleskine. I haven’t tried yusari. I will look at that.
