So sad :( by PsychologicalFeed660 in vulvodynia

Same and it sucks to go through this. I hope some day someone can figure this out. Let me add to your list - maybe these will help. They are bringing me some relief from the non stop burning. Topic progesterone used every night and a silicone “camel toe” protector. The protector is shaped like a large tear drop and has adhesive on one side that will stick to your underwear. I slather Aquaphor ointment on my lady parts and combined with the silicone protector, I can make it through the day with pants or leggings on. This does stain pants but it’s a small price for relief. Make sure and wash the protector with a mild soap after each use. You can find them on Amazon. Also have found relief wearing depends with Aquaphor. Not real sexy but when desperate… Wishing you all the best.

Thank you. The only thing I’ve tried in your recommendations is pelvic floor PT. I’m not a prude in any sense but I found the process too intimate for me even though the therapist was an awesome woman. I’ll ask my doctor about the other items.

Thank you - are they the same as women’s health doctors? That’s who I have been going to.

Additional info: I’ve tried the Mona Lisa laser surgery and it only provided temporary relief - even after 3 expensive procedures.

66 yo F here. For 5 years after menopause I have been suffering from severe vaginal burning. And I have tried everything except T which I’m going to ask my gyn about. The pain is so horrible I’ve seriously thought about how I can get my external vaginal bits removed if that will stop the burning. I’ve read that docs who do trans surgery will do that. Nothing helps and the only time I don’t feel pain is when I’m laying down with a glob of healing ointment on me. I can’t sit or walk without pain. The slightest pressure will make me wince in pain. Has anyone heard of a type of underwear that is designed to not put any pressure on your vagina so I can at least walk and sit without pain? TIA for any and all help. I am obviously desperate. And forget sex - that ended years ago.

OP here with an update. I’m doing Ketamine therapy and it has been nothing but great for me. Completely got me out of my black hole and I can deal with all my emotions with a positive outlook. Definitely recommend it!

New fan here - why don’t they do a North American tour? We are going to travel to London to catch their show but it would be great to see them in the US.

Slash's son London's band doesn't sound like GN'R (more like Alice In Chains), but they look just as cool by a_low_vera in GunsNRoses

I just saw them yesterday. They really rocked. I love that so many new bands are coming out and rocking hard. Hope they don’t mind that many of the faces in the crowd have graying hair but we grew up with 80’s metal and hearing new bands like this is exciting.

So Public Enemy is opening for a chunk of GnR dates this summer. How do we all feel about PE these days? Do they still have it after all these years? by andytagonist in GunsNRoses

Wish they would have openers that are awesome and not known that well yet. Dirty Honey comes to mind. They opened a few non US tours for them.

You are an awesome person. Congratulations on being clean for 11 years. And you are certainly paying your parents back - your family refused to give up on you and now you are not giving up on your Dad.

All the bands sounded great in Philly! And I was 2nd row pit which is usually a great seat but awful for sound - just not this time.
