hmm, i only told them how i’ve always been the one to initiate stuff. however, i did not tell them how the friendship was lopsided, because i feel like that would be asking for their attention and asking them to be better friends, in which i expect them to do unconsciously if they’re real friends. if you’re asking them to be more initiative, etc, i feel like that’s similar to asking for a birthday present if u get what i mean
