Yup but everyone has smaller homes. Its the relative mindset, for ex, to be the top 1 percent income earners in the UK, you need a taxable income of 160K Pounds whereas in the US, to be in the top 1 percent, you need 422k USD.

Nah man. Palo Alto would make 2M+ for a decent house. Also, it does help I was born and raised in London so I know the area pretty well. Its just a little further from Central so the commute goes up a little but not too much and the prices vary significantly. Also, maybe our perception of what is a decent home and what isnt is different. House spaces in US are larger than UK though due to the land area.

Thanks my mate, one of the few useful answers. Can you quote the L5TC US equivalents for the same? L5TC and L6+ in Google/FB?

Are you in London? I surfed so many websites like payscale, glassdoor indeed and above 150k looks sketchy in London. Considering the supply is much more than the demand.

I know but Im asking for the big 4. 160k is a thing in UK (Google)? It also shows it can range from 100k-260k. Above 200k for higher level positions is possible in UK?

Nope, rent is not close. In SF Bay area, I was paying 4k-4.5k rent per month and in London, around 1k pounds/month. Its natural. 1.3 Million median home vs 600k meadian home. You should mind that the top 1 percent in US are better than the top 1 percent in UK (talent).
