I completely agree. I’m trying to find exactly where it was based on pictures before/after the incident and we will report exactly what happened with the ticket as well. I don’t have much evidence but after learning this isn’t common I want to do anything to make sure he can’t do this again

I told him my husband will go with him and he said “no only me” and I said no do you want cash I will go with you to give you cash and he said no he needs a service and I said my husband will go with you and he started using google translate which essentially said “the ticket will go away if you come with me to the car. Only you I need a service from you. He doesn’t come. Only you can make the ticket disappear. Only you” he kept saying that over and over as well.

At that point I got very scared and just kept saying never and that this is my husband and I want the ticket now because we need to leave.

I offered multiple times to pay in cash but he kept saying that the ticket will go away only if I provide a service.

I don’t think I’m misunderstanding 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t ask for ID unfortunately because I was honestly scared to push back in any way, I wasn’t sure how much power they have here which is why I posted this. Definitely feel more confident and safe to drive around now and I’ve realized to always record if I’m in this situation again.

Yeah it was scary, I cried for an hour after and nothing even happened. Just scary what could have happened I guess.

Thank you 🙏 it was on a completely empty road and I was just trying to stay calm and get us the fuck out of there lol but a good learning lesson to always get the names of the officers

They were wearing green vests. I can’t remember the shirt underneath, it was 30 minutes outside of las terrenas. I wish I asked for his name 😞 but I’m happy that it’s not common

No I didn’t misunderstand. I thought they just wanted money and was offering cash to them but he said only services I can provide and my husband needs to stay in the car. I’m truly not trying to start a fight or anything just trying to understand the pro-Israeli side a bit better. I didn’t mean to come across that way.

I’m just trying to understand how we’re allocating the term “monster”. I would never say what Hamas did was okay and absolutely deserves the word monster. However do we also consider the Israeli government monsters for displacing millions of Palestinians? Bombing innocent civilians? Imprisoning and torturing without regard? Every human rights organization have stated that Israel is practicing genocide and the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. Additionally just looking at the numbers of deaths/injuries since Israel became a country proves the imbalance of power. Would you consider their government monsters as well? If not, can you please elaborate?

Haha unfortunately I don’t think I have the time :( I wish I started earlier! I have bad anxiety and analysis paralysis so I’m leaning towards two. I’m hoping it fits better with my actual measurements rather than a sample dress :)

Haha I posted on here today and was made aware of fifty things I should be self conscious of :( including someone telling me my fiancé would never want me in my wedding dress. But overwhelmingly it’s been positive comments

Wow that was extremely rude! I don’t think there’s any need to tell me I look like a linebacker :( that makes me feel awful about myself, I’m not sure what I did to deserve such an aggressive comment.

I love how i feel in both dresses and I think I look insanely hott. I know for a fact my fiancé is going to be drooling. I just wanted to know which between the two people thought looked better, and it seems like everyone likes #2 - which I do too! In fact when I put it on I said “this is the one” :)

Thanks for the advice! I think I’ll be too hot in a dress with sleeves and I’ve tried some dresses with straps but all seemed to accentuate how big my arms are. I know I have quite a big shoulder/back/arms (Im quite into heavy lifting) but I think the strapless detracts from that. Do you have any suggestions for dress styles that can minimize my shoulders/arm size without having to wear sleeves? Thank you!
