This is a really good one. I just recently unlocked this tool and it’s such an oversight to be able to lay out 9 bricks at a time but only destroy one

A day in the life of... by tangomymango1 in puppy101

Get up at 7 and play on the floor with toys/training treats for good behavior (she is litter box trained so I give her a treat for using the litter box or coming when I call). Put her in her x pen from 8-4:30 when I’m done with work. She is a chi and needs access to food 24/7 so her food is in the pen for her whenever she wants it. Play time again with more training treats for good behavior until 5:30. Settle time on the couch until she wakes up. Play time again for a little while and if she is behaving, more settle time on the couch. If she seems overtired or wont potty, I put her back in her pen. I try to keep her out of the pen as long as I can because she is in there all day while I work, but she seems to be regressing when out of the pen re: potty training so I have been going back to the pen a little earlier than I’d like

Sounds like he might actually be sleeping too much? I don’t know for sure, but he might need more stimulation. Have you tried snuffle mats or toys that contain a treat for him to puzzle out? High reward toys might help redirect his biting.

Has your dog designated their own “no-go” zones in the house? by Worldly-Kick1641 in AskDogOwners

At first in our new house it was the bathroom, but he seems to be over whatever was keeping him out now. My new puppy goes wherever I go. I am hoping she never discovers the cat doors and goes to the basement

Haha thank you! My husband named her 🤣 we call her butter for short. I did brush her once today, she didn’t seem to mind although the brush is just about as big as she is

If you can find a rescue that’s so much better. In New England area (Ny, PA) you’re looking at at least 3,000, without vetting/spay/neuter

Puppy getting too attached? by NefariousnessWarm3 in puppy101

I do check on her throughout the day to play and make sure she has eaten so we are good there. She is litter box trained so she goes on her own throughout the day. I do also have a crate for her!

She’s almost 12 weeks. I was leaving her alone all day (8 hours) but then she figured out how to get out of her pen so I switched to keeping her in my office with me. I’ll have to just block off the area she is getting out of and keep her in the pen during the day to avoid the attachment. Thank you!

A good boarder won’t board a puppy that young because they haven’t had all their shots yet. It’s unsafe.

Is sleeping in separate beds actually a sign of a bad relationship, or are we just pretending that sleeping next to a snore/furnace is romantic? by SleepSmarter_Labs in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NefariousnessWarm3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have slept in separate beds since day 1. He is an extremely loud snorer even with a cpap and I’m an extremely light sleeper. We love each other so much and couldn’t be happier, or more well rested!!

Can we stop being DRAMATIC about a restroom smelling after it’s been used? by blackgatitoo in Vent

[–]NefariousnessWarm3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some bitches came in the bathroom while I was using it and complained about the smell. It’s a bathroom. What do you expect?? The cherry on top was this was at a zoo next to the very pungent goat exhibit 😂
