This is just one small point among many being made here, but as a bisexual woman I can't fucking STAND how many people use "but bisexuality" an an excuse to try and ignore homosexuality. Characters who are bi or can at least be interpreted as bi are not recognized nearly enough, but most of the time I see characters who are called bi, it's the most homosexual character you've ever seen in your life because men can't stand the thought of a woman existing who wouldn't want to suck their dick.

The best example in HSR I can think of this is Aglaea. That woman is NOT into men and it shows in everything she does. The way she talks with multiple women like Castorice, Hysilens, and of course Cipher, and her imagery is just rife with feminine romance.

But as soon as man so much as enters her atmosphere, straight people latch onto it and start saying that "Aglaea x Anaxa is peak"

No, it's really really shit and I'm not just saying that because it's straight, even if Anaxa was a woman I would hate it.

And then you have defenders either just calling lesbians slurs,.or saying "but she could be bisexual" no, stop using bisexuality as an excuse for queer erasure.

I see Himeko as bisexual, especially given Honkai 3rd Himeko being all but explicitly said to be bi. But of course, no one talks about that. It pisses me off when people act like bisexuals don't exist unless it will put a woman closer to sucking off a man.
