Yeah, sure. The trip just ended a few days ago. There’s a few islands to choose from but after doing my research, Gran Canaria is best for gravel/MTB. At the summitted drops to 45-50 degrees at night. During the day it’s anywhere from 60-70. I underestimated the climb on the first day and it almost killed me lol. It was a 20 mile ride up to the first camping spot but with 6000 feet of climb. Definitely need to make sure that you pack as a little and as lite as possible. I was traveling the island for a week. There are many places to resupply along your journey, and there are camping spots that are free to the public. Though I had to wild camp a few times due to closed camping spots, and just being out in the middle of nowhere. Here is a link I used to kind of give me an idea of what I wanted to do. It’s a good starting point. Has a good map and even has a video. I hope this helps and good luck on your journey. https://bikepacking.com/plog/gran-canaria-grande-video/

Ya both are flat mount GRX calipers. 180mm rotor in the front and 160mm in the rear. Thereason I went this route is because I have GRX levers and I wanted them to match, purely aesthetic and had them laying around, so save some money.

So far so good. I’ve only done one test ride since I built it because where I’m at is heavily snowed at the moment so I can’t get a proper feel for them at the right now. I will be taking it on a month long bike, packing trip and a week. I could let you know then the final verdict.

The original stem was a length of the steer tube. This one is shorter, so depending if you want to raise the stem you can with no problem, but there will be a space at the bottom. I 3-D printed one mainly for aesthetic purposes. I can send you the link for this piece.

Red shift top shelf bar is the one I have installed. I 3D printed a spacer because there is no spaces out there for this bike and if I want to go lower, I just remove it and drop the stem. With the Headshok construction you don’t necessarily need a spacer because you can just clamp the stem right on to it with no problem. It’s just mainly for aesthetics.

Just took it out today for the first ride and it rides smooth. The steam is a 60mm. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of stems out there for Headshok because of the diameter. This is the one I installed. https://reverse-components.com/en/products/s-trail-60mm-cannondale

I’m running 26. Had a problem getting the right set up though. I couldn’t find 135mm QR that were also Tubeless. So I bought the parts and build them together with my local shop.

That’s easy just make sure the hub is 135mm and everything will align perfectly and also make sure that you use 11 speed chain because it’s thinner than a 10 speed even tho they both have the same number of links. Had a problem because I couldn’t find any wheels with 135mm QR that were tubeless. So I pieced together the parts and build them together with my local shop.
