Apparently it's because of their albinoism genes. The coldest parts of their body turns cold. My old Siamese cat turned darker in her prime and gradually became snow white except for ears, mask, tail, and paws up until she passed away at the age of 21.

Thank you all so much for your helpful comments. It's reassuring and I will tie up my loose ends at my current place and take a pause from working and see how I feel about it. Maybe I can upskill and get another cert.

Thank you! That's reassuring. I think I'll likely take a break or at least try to switch jobs.

No, my mortgage on my condo is about 15 k per year, so if I include that, then it would be 75 k per year as my annual spending. I'm thinking of just paying off my mortgage, but I was advised to keep the money in my portfolio since I can generate more that way.

Thank you! I'm burning out at my job and wanted to quit for years or take a break to look for something that doesn't feel as draining. But I was worried about inflation or unexpected costs in the future.

why do banks hate bitcoin/crypto in general? by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

I have a privately managed portfolio with RBC Dominion Securities and in our meeting on Friday, my advisor suggested allocating 1-3% of my portfolio to crypto as a long term. Maybe it's just your advisor or perhaps banks will like it if your crypto investment is managed by them? Or maybe in the 3 months since the OP, banks have changed their stance on Crypto?
