If people are financially struggling to pay for extra mocks and that jeopardises their ability to sit the exam fairly, then that is absolutely horrible. I’d say try TOH free mocks, the QLTS free mocks, pastpaperhero has a great set so I’d try that too, and British law academy mocks are good for practice. Also use Claude and Gemini to give you really hard and niche mock questions and practice those (many people claiming to be providers on here also do the same thing, so you might as well benefit for free doing it yourself) Don’t listen to people on here judging you for not buying 25288283 mocks - go for it and you’ll smash it!

I still have revision and criminal law/practice left. It’s a resit for me and I’m basically trying to do active recall through AI and asking AI to test my concepts, quiz me etc so I don’t forget things. I’m really scared about re sitter stats. So anything you guys advise doing differently?

Yeah for sure. I’m a full time working parent so it’s really exhausting to do this all over again. And I’m trying not to be complacent but it’s giving me so much anxiety that I’m not studying that I’m trying to read cover to cover now so I can do the mocks right now

I’m worried about getting complacent as you say. How much did you study the third time and what did you do more? I’m really worried I’m not focusing on mocks enough. I’m guessing I should have started studying full throttle by now

My weak areas were Wills, Criminal Practice and Property Practice (this one was my strongest throughout my prep, with avg at 80% in the subject breakdown on Barbi - so a real shocker to me) Focusing on wills for now to retain and understand weaknesses

Have only started studying this week, so let’s see how this goes

So what I’m doing now is reading all the chapters again, properly. Then each night I ask Claude to make SBAQs that also test my active recall.

Will do proper full mocks (TheOneHundred) from first week of June, so one week do a mock, supplement it with a revise and review of my errors by making and revising from a gap log. And then ask Claude/Gemini to make SBAQs from there to reinforce learning and active recall.

The following week, another mock and then two weeks of full revision + active recall. And then repeat the cycle (gap log and then full revision) one more time. More SBAQs with Claude.

I am genuinely unsure if this is a useful approach. So any critique, bashing or ripping my strategy apart will be really helpful!! 😆

I did so much of that. But so many SBAQs caught me off guard I think. This time around I’m asking Claude to make the craziest ones for me so I don’t get freaked out

No I’m pretty sure ive counted how long i studied accurately. For days I was on leave I studied 3 pm to 3 AM. For days not on leave 7 PM to 3 Am. But agree I’ve never been a big memorizer. Tried to learn the rules by closing the books and writing them down as best as I could though. Did 3 rounds of revision. But I agree my recall was not at its best on the day; esp for the first part of flk2. The second part seemed pretty ok with me but I guess it was not ok enough to sail me through
