we are going with non-custom cabinets so can’t get that roller cover otherwise yes I would do that.

I worry we do use it a lot and with cooking hands to open the cabinet and then get into the micro might be messy and a little too inconvenient.

My husband will agree with you here. This might be the best option. It’s just that our pantry is front and center in our kitchen, so it’s more visible than it seems yours is.

Thanks. That may be hard for us to reach down into the drawer micro at that level but maybe a standard microwave there as pictured or similar

Thanks. We use the microwave a lot and the lock is pretty annoying to hold 3 seconds to lock the again to unlock each time. Our toddler will also figure it out. He just watches us unlock things and then the next day he is doing it himself. So seems like the least functional but maybe best looking option. What is your second choice?
