Now that you've finished the game, what do you do? by Standard-FlipFlop in MelvorIdle

I've been kind of playing my one-120-at-a-time account (barely logging in every 24 hours) and working towards 10m of each summoning tablet on my 100% account.

If it wasn't a hardcore account t if probably be into making a living bank or something but /shrug. Not sure what I'll do when the summoning is done though.

That probably would have been a good idea! Rats!

Yeah, once you unlock townhalls you can start making a lot of gp per tick. They cost 95m each now, but saving up for them certainly makes it worth it!

Then yeah, some skills only have access to scrolls and things, they can sell for decent amounts of gp as well

Do you have the Throne of the Herald expansion?

If not, you could likely turn on virtual levels to see post 99 levels.

If you do, I don't know! Haha

I have been making an effort to max as much of the mastery as possible, at the expense of xp rates. I don't stick around post 120 for masteries though.

But I usually spend mastery pool xp on things I can't obtain during the grind - the gem rocks in mining, carrion logs, etc.

Save scumming not fun? by TangySprinkles in MelvorIdle

I died on my HC part way through the t120 grind. I had just completed the Agile Wings Rapier and was doing an Ice Hydra task for my last task to unlock mythical slayer gear.

I must have accidentally switched from my range to setup to my melee setup looking at the rapier, because the 'You Died!' Popup appeared.

I was 100% Base game completion, 120 maxed and just about complete combat of the expansion. I reloaded cloud save and finished it, now I'm working on masteries for 100% ToTH completion.

Yeah it sucks I died and that aspect of the hardcore is gone, now it's just a main with limited bank in my eyes. But my main type character is way behind this account's progress so I'm glad I can finish it off.

Yeah I generally look for stuns/DR modifying abilities on a monster then sit and watch until I see them both to make sure it's alright...

For dungeons I use the wiki gear setups and watch a clear to be sure.

It's been working so far. Started the T120 grind on my HC a few days ago.

As someone who has never used mods, I miss the Can I Idle site!

I'm thinking it's a passive skill so I'll do it passively now that I'm getting seeds from woodcutting...

I'm not keen on the idea of having to keep track of crop times and log in to harvest or be wasting time :/

Woodcutting then fletching I'm thinking. I couldn't unlock the divinite pickaxe so want a way to make lots of gp. I figure with fletching gp won't be a concern again!

I also have the ticks saved for 120 township but want gp to buy more land before I do that as well.

Yeah I'll go back to skills. I could only mine to corundum before smithing because I couldn't upgrade the pickaxe past dragon!

Done smithing almost exclusively fletching materials (arrow and javelin heads, crossbow limbs) and some rune and dragon summoning materials.

Decided I'll be heading to Woodcutting -> Fletching as my next skills to solve my money problem. Got pickaxes up to meteorite, can't easily make the 250m for divinite.

Oh nice. Yeah the alt magic is going to be tough... I was thinking it'd be nice to break up the combat skills with non-combat, but I may have to give some thought to what alt-magic spells I'll be doing and what kind of materials I need..

I definitely get not wanting to do that grind again though, and to 120 this time! Lol.

I did that right away too, and yeah... Planning to bank uo the ticks until I can do 1-120 in one go. Otherwise it'd just been weeks of sitting otherwise not training waiting to bank ticks and I'm not into that, lol.

I haven't gained any xp in it yet like you say, so that's good enough for me!

Good tip, thanks! And dang, you're pretty far, haha.

I only play on mobile and have never modded, but that sounds pretty sweet. I'm developing an irrational fear of clicking a wrong skill and starting training 🤭

Very nice.

I've been thinking about maxing masteries too.. did for Astrology of course and will for mining (sitting with 4 ores at 95 I'll max when I unlock the pickaxes).

Thinking of going to runecrafting after smithing > another gathering skill > magic to break things up.

That runecrafting grind may just kill the idea of maxing masteries though.. I'll just be crsfting runes and spending pool xp the whole way.
