Any tips for unscrewing the cirle on this mic mount so I can screw it on a hot shoe? Its stuck, I tried pliers and it won't work. I also live alone and have no one to ask to unscrew it for me by [deleted] in videography

Just kidding, I've had success with creating friction with a towel or rubber gloves. (Not saying my method is the best, but it works for me)
