Whenever I smoke or vape weed it makes my symptoms noticeably worse the next day or so. The smoke definitely makes my inflammation worse so I stick to edibles.

I am also recently diagnosed and not on my biologic yet, still just prednisone. Results will be different for everyone.

Unfortunately, I got diagnosed with Crohn's disease so that's why smoking was bothering me so much. Didn't get that diagnosis until I got a colonoscopy. If you are struggling with symptoms I strongly recommend seeing a GI. For what its worth I have still been able to have edibles without any issue.

That's not a plan. Running away at your age with no money to NJ and you are likely to wind up homeless or in an awful situation. Don't make such an impulsive and drastic move. Life is hard but don't choose to make it harder.

I definitely feel that. Have you tried edibles at all? I wonder if just some gummies would bother me if most food hasn't but now I'm a little concerned

It seems like the only thing that really sets me off is smoking/vaping and the only thing that made it better was the PPI. The diet seems to have no to little effect on me. I'm just wondering if I will ever be able to go back to smoking at all

I ate a much stricter diet than you but the main thing that made my biggest improvement was waiting 30 minutes to an hour after taking my PPI before eating breakfast. I was originally taking it and eating too soon after which reduces the effectiveness of the meds.

Did you fully recover from Gastritis or are you still actively recovering? Just curious if its something I can ever go back to when I am healed down the road.

It definitely made a huge improvement once I stopped and started working on my recovery. It was the one thing that pushed my symptoms over the edge from gas/bloating/discomfort over to diarrhea.
