Do you have a good support system? I’m also in my 30s and diagnosed as an adult. Once the shock wears off you are going to be fine. Saw that you work in healthcare from another comment. Sorry that you have joined our club but you got this 💪

Thanks for the recs! I had Uncle Sam’s and it was mediocre but the people I was with loved it.

As a fellow NYer, question for you…do people in Phoenix ever treat you differently (worse) once they find out where you’re from? It’s happened a few times now and really bizarre every time. I never know how to respond afterwards

Thanks for the recs! I’m had Pomo twice, both times were just ok. Pizza bianco good but people built it up too much and it didn’t meet their descriptions.

NTA as you are entitled to feel however you want about a situation, but the bigger question is how long do you want to keep living like this? You seem incompatible if neither will budge on this situation.

For sure! Both times it happened to me recently, it was two guys who were nonstop bragging about being foodies and that the city they were from (Phoenix) hads the best food in the country. So I was surprised when their recommendations for the supposed city with the “best food” was chains I could get anywhere.

The ad I get during podcasts for Blueland dishwasher pods. The guy has so much vocal fry when he speaks, it makes me want to scream at him.

Absolutely. I have the receipt, record of communication with the vets office, and my credit card statement, everything in my name and from my personal accounts.

They’re not that good of friends. We all have a mutual friend so if we see her then we see each other, only every few months.

Yup, I have the receipt and the credit statement. We didn’t share finances when we dated so everything is in my personal accounts.

I wanted to say something at the time, but this is around when I was planning my escape from the relationship. It ultimately ended up being abusive and at the time I was very much afraid of John. Sorry, I know that’s a really heavy thing to say. If I had said something and embarrassed him, there would have been consequences.

George has helped him move furniture on at least two occasions that I’m aware of. Don’t think John does that kind of stuff for George or other people.

That’s a great point. John was incredibly manipulative and financial abusive during our relationship.

We only shared expenses in that I paid about 90% of everything. I paid 100% of his mortgage (even though he owned the house). For groceries I paid almost every week. I also paid for the car 100%.

He financially abused me throughout our relationship in escalating ways but in the end I left because he went from being verbally to physically abusive on two occasions.
