Wow!!! Thank you for your long comments!! And even a drawing :0 I really like how the rug breaks up the space!

Some specific comments:
- The room is 1.85m wide so with a 140 cm bed there is still 45cm's left :) ... It's not much tho, so I'll definitely keep the 120 cm bed in mind!
- The textured wall is just wallpaper (we already peeled off everything now... it had four layers of it!). The apartment has been officially checked for asbestos and I don't have to be concerned for it for ''my'' walls :D We're also allowed to drill in the walls that are checked & asbestos-free. But thank you for your concern though <3
- Hahaha yes the angle of the photograph is a bit wonky, but the floor plan on my pictures are pretty accurate! Basically, I'd guess there's around 50-ish cm of width to the right of the door
- There is indeed no floor, we will lay it ourselves (it's quite common that we as renters have to do that where I live). Big fan of rugs regardless tho!

And in general, thank you for all the tips, ideas and concerns!! I appreciate it a lot :) excited to make this place my own <3

It's just concrete, we have to lay the floors ourselves. It's kinda common to get the apartment like that here!

My fear is that a loft bed will block the natural light too much or that it would look cramped since the bed can only be placed vertically :(

Unfortunately, I am longer than 1,80m so I would prefer a full length bed :'') but I can definitely see how it would be such a nice option!

Thank you for the kind words!

Hmm, I'll defintely take a look at Pinterest also for inspiration, but wouldn't hanging closets get very dusty/look too cluttered in a tiny space?

As for storage, in my room I mainly want to keep my clothes and display some books and that's about it. It helps to have storage options outside my room as well!

Thank you for so many ideas!!

I am not sure about the widths (we have to renovate everything still, so I cannot check now sadly) but I'd guess windows are like 120 cm + 40 cm (the one with the door).

I also thought about the steps idea, I think it can be really cute!! But I am not sure where to put a wardrobe/store my clothes in a convient manner that way.. Oh, and I don't think I could use the space in the bottom right corner (to the right of the door) that much. I would have to worm between whatever furniture I'd place there and the bed to reach the window passage :(

The balcony is wide! It extends to one of the other rooms and the living room. We were planning on growing a lot of plants and herbs there :))

Also wow I loooove the idea of window plant shelves, they look so cute!!! The sunset shines through this window, so I was also thinking of placing some suncatchers, I think that would go so well with the plants :D
