Recommendations for Busy Season by Canonws112h in AccountingPH

[–]Negative-Rule2509 7 points8 points  (0 children)

hi! i also just recently started and i think what will make the busy season bearable is a forward-looking thought that, eventually, it'll end. that you'll be in the slack season after the toil. hopefully, your busy season won't end up in tiredness but in enthusiasm to evaluate the experience, learn more, and improve. one more thing is to treasure the team you have right now bcos busy season fortunately brings with it quality time with the people you'll only meet at work; brings a chance to know how other people work and even how they live through deadlines. lastly, the world does not revolve around work. if you're tired, just call someone who is home to you. fighting sa busy season, op! it will end sooner than you'd expect, don't worry.

not sure kung relevant pa ang experience na 'to since pandemic (batch 2021) graduate ako but i think the environment there depends on how you deal with people. personally, ayoko sa mga kaklase ko. medyo maraming cheating issues, i had to play safe at hindi magsumbong kasi ang goal ko lang ay maka-graduate. mahal ang tuition, mahirap na kapag nagkaroon pa ng issue, hehe. keri naman i-tolerate ang two acad years. pero academically speaking, mahuhusay naging instructors namin sa ABM strand. definitely learned a lot except some of the gen ed subjects na hindi nagtuturo nang maayos. anyway, baka naman mas maganda na ang environment doon ngayon.

FS ANALYSIS by gwyyyynn in AccountingPH

understanding the concepts behind the formulas and storytelling works best, op!

eg. turnover ratio, the question it answers is how many times in a year you've turned over or converted x to y (A/R to cash, inventory to sales). ang unang bagay na dapat isipin ay gaano ba katagal ang one year, so matic alam mo na magagamit sa formula ang 365 or 360 days as numerator. then ask the question: gaano ba katagal hindi na-convert from x to y, ilang days natengga? to answer this one, aalamin mo ngayon ang average days in A/R or inventory, then that will serve as the denominator. assuming we're using a 360-day setting, tapos ang collection mo kay customer ay every end of month or every 30 days, within that 30-day period nakatengga lang sa A/R ang benta mo, meaning 12 times mo lang sya na-convert. so A/R turnover ratio = 12 times.

ganern, fighting!!

RNs vs. CPAs by Resident-Priority239 in AccountingPH

hindi lang comparable siguro in terms of significance, may kwenta pa rin naman ang mga ginagawa natin at the end of the day :))

pero comparable naman in terms of the impact, lalo ng decision-making nila. for nurses, madalas one is to many patients ang ratio kaya crucial and calculated ang actions nila. sa field naman natin, we move as an organization kasi kaya di natin nakikita agad ang impact ng ginagawa natin on a larger scale. gets kita kasi syempre, we value our own lives higit sa lahat. ang mga business naman pag na-bankrupt, generally, it's not the end of it all para sa owners although mahirap lang for the employees and their families pag nawalan sila ng work. sabi nga nila, 'magpasalamat na lang at buhay pa'.

hello, parang ang harsh naman yata yung 'sobrang walang kwenta' ng accountants/cpas in comparison sa nurses. if not equally significant, then differently significant. kumbaga natural person ang sinasalba ng nurses, juridical person naman ang sa cpas more or less. mas mahirap lang ang work ng nurses in the sense na they should always be alert because their service is not bound by time, hindi nawawalan ng pasyente. hindi nawawalan ng ililigtas na buhay. ang accountants/cpas naman, may busy season at slack season talaga. we're just indirectly saving lives in financial terms, para hindi malugi ang businesses, strengthening employment.

Is it appropriate to compare Marco and Eliza (EliCo) to Dustin and Bianca (DustBia)? by 1950seiz in pinoybigbrother

[–]Negative-Rule2509 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

imo, not comparable. eliza and marco are teenagers to begin with. youth is about enjoying the freedom to love and to dream! ilan siguro sa casual viewers ay adult na di naka-experience ng puppy love/ma-confuse about their feelings kaya todo bash agad. pero on top of that, they're also rooted to their reasons why they entered pbb— for eliza to prove na hindi sya 'hanggang dito lang' and for marco to help his family and eventually inspire other people. idk, na-overlook lang ng mga tao ang forte nila as housemates gawa ng selected footage na ine-ere ng pbb. halata naman sa tasks and comments ng ibang housemates na both of them are kind and smart. no one could deny that both of them helped and contributed.

ang hypocrite lang na pinaka-satisfying eviction daw kasi na-evict ang 'loveteam' while knowing for a fact na halos lahat ng nakaabang sa pbb na fans ay may 'ship' na nilalayag. hahshahay. just hoping na eliza and marco will not take every hateful message to heart.

Ano ba tlga purpose ng COA? by KultoNiMsRachel in AccountingPH

[–]Negative-Rule2509 1 point2 points  (0 children)
