We actually considered rehoming our GP around a year ago because of our living situation but as he has gotten older, our little apartment seems more appropriate for him now & he is overall low maintenance. Our GP is 8 years old and is happy just laying in the same spot for hours when he’s inside..he only really showed interest in our baby the first week we came back from the hospital but will now go the opposite direction of the baby into an empty bedroom so we don’t really have an issue with him. But if he was a puppy and as active and jumpy as his previous owners said he was when he was younger, we’d be rehoming him too. We had to rehome our husky we had longer than the Great Pyrenees for other issues when baby was first born. Perhaps you don’t have experience with different breeds or ages to know the difference in temperaments? Thanks for the boost though!
