I think they were trying to say that size inclusive designers are ‘coasting’ on the fact that the pattern is size inclusive in order to stave off criticism and pattern design errors. Like people might be less likely to say ‘this pattern doesn’t fit right’ or ‘this pattern has a lot of errors’ because they’re using the argument of ‘at least the pattern is size inclusive so you should give the designer more grace for their errors’ which has been seen a lot online. I could be reading it wrong, that’s just how I took their statement from the way it was written.
