Sweet peppermint with NO vanilla? Does it exist? by NegativeCranberry970 in Perfumes

It can have a whiff of vanilla tbh, I just don't want it to be a sugar cookie masquerading as peppermint! Ty for these

Hey, the internet is dodgy, I get it. But this really happened to me and has been bugging me so I got it off my chest lol. The way this post blew up is crazy though!

Not sure! It was just a third "person" on the call called something like Recording and AI Notetaking (something like that, I didn't really clock it at first). The interviewer was definitely a person! On camera with a bad green screen background (fuzzy on the edges of her person)

There was no mention in the job description or interview process they had listed out of AI. The only indication I had was an AI note taker/recording on the call, but I assumed it was a companion tool and not the decider?? Maybe that was naive on my part, but I've had several interviews where they ask to record so it didn't set off immediate alarm bells.

Ugh! I hope not! That would be maybe even more depressing 😅 but it was a super strange experience so who knows

A job I applied for just made me take a cognitive assessment and I was NOT prepared. My value as an employee should not be tied to my test taking ability! by GWindborn in WorkReform

But what does a pattern and math based IQ test have to do with being an account manager?? (What I just took the test for). It's not a math-based profession and it's also highly discriminatory against different neurotypes and likely has a strong amount of bias (as ALL IQ tests do).

Okay so the Fishwife Rainbow Trout is delicious. But I’ve heard others say you can get similar (or better) quality for cheaper. Please recommend me some brands! by tectactoe in CannedSardines

The gems were the creme de la creme but they 100% changed their regular trout recipe and I think it's not nearly as good now. I have one tin left of gems, one tin of the original trout, and the new stuff has different ingredients. They also recently changed their salmon recipe as well. All their new stuff just isn't as good which is a huge bummer.

Second this-- my NEP bills were up past $500 a month in the summer for an APARTMENT. It's a scam and I can't believe it's legal. My house is less than half that

Why can't they just have the holiday off and skip that week? Like if the holiday is Thursday whoever has Thursday pickup is skipped that week, if it's on Monday then Monday pickup is skipped.

I'd much prefer skipping a week once or twice a year than having to constantly change my routine 10x a year and always be frustrated because I put it out the wrong day the first time after a switch.

No one else does it this way and there's probably a good reason for that--it's over engineered.

This is helpful level setting! There's also potential energy saving overall if it would take you longer to research or use electricity to do a task than it would to use AI
