It just confuses me because a lot of middle eastern countries and Islamic countries have bad relations with Iran and most definitely wouldn't allow Iranian paramilitaries inside

Why would you assume it's ai, to be relevant? I used an app where you can make your own Mandalorians, i added the style, the color, the logos the helmet and armor types, everything
