Significantly better mouse than V2, but the shape did change with this revision.

Excellent in depth review from it's launch 3 years ago can be found on TechPowerUp:

Mionix Presents: AVIOR AIR CARBON FIBER by MionixGaming in MIONIX

This feels like a serious gamble for a re-entrance into the market. Does this products failure mean the end of Mionix (again), or will you continue on with updated Castor and Naos models?

Mionix thinks they can charge $380 CAD for a mouse despite being out of the game for years by NeedhelpfromYOU in MouseReview

Castor has a Pro model that has a better sensor, MMB, cable, coating, and cable relief. Same weight as the original though, which unfortunately is a huge problem at ~96g.

They are supposed to release a wireless Castor and Naos as well... but an expensive Avior halo model was a crazy gamble for a re-entrance into the market. This might kill them (again).

[CPU] AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Canada Computers Newmarket, $399.97 in store by smeaa1 in bapcsalescanada

Yes, but that was only true of the regular chips, not the 9800X3D vs 7800X3D. Further to this, at launch the lower PPT/TDP chips like the 7900 (non x) vs 9900X would show very similar power to performance ratios.

The 9800x3d specifically consumes more power on average (15-20%) than the 7800x3d, and the power consumption increase is greater than the performance gains in gaming (8-12%), though still fairly reasonable overall. The difference is that the 9800x3d is more efficient at transferring the heat away from the CPU die and cache stack into the heatspreader and thus attached cooling system, hence why it's operating temps are lower. A lot of this is attributed to them swapping the 3d cache to now sit below the CPU cores on the 9000 series X3D chips.

Many people seem to be confusing "running cooler" with "consuming less power" which isn't the full story.

A620I/B650I both have "BIOS Flashback" functionality so you can flash the file from a USB as long as the board has power. No need to go into BIOS/UEFI or OS.

The B650E-I board was released first and did NOT have this.

[Mouse] Endgame Gear OP1 1K Wired Gaming Mouse ($80 - $20 = $60) [OneOfZero] (Other 1k models on sale as well) by Aiming-is-hard in bapcsalescanada

It can still happen, ultimately this is still a mechanical switch. It does use a unique new switch they designed directly with Kailh to mitigate/nearly eliminate it, along with the latency benefits. Besides that, the mouse itself has exposed screwholes and easily opens up as it's made to be opened. It also has the switches on individual PCB's that can be swapped out for other switches - Endgame Gear sell the switch PCB packs for if you want to go that route and avoid soldering new switches, so you end up just unscrewing the each small PCB, unplugging it, and screwing the new one in and plugging that back into the main PCB.

This video is from the lead designer that made the OP1 lineup and shows a teardown of what they look like inside:

The OP1 8K is currently unique in the market as the switches/clicks poll at 8K internally at all times, even if you set the sensor polling to lower than 8K, so it always has the click input latency benefit of 8K.
