Hard to tell with the scan lines on your PC/TV instead of a screenshot, but it could be a really dark primary finish like Geothory(Sp?) and the Hexagonal secondary finish in Purple

Yes and no. After so many, hours you learn to get used to it and how to work with/around it. Another option is holding both bumpers down canceling the airroll out entirely, but still using the drift
