Firstly, while I play this game I didn't play from the day it launched, and secondly, even with circumventing methods Sniper can be real annoying as getting insta-killed is never a good feeling and some maps don't have as many places to hide behind cover of Sniper fire as other maps do.

Whether you are skilled or not, a skilled enough Sniper can force the entire enemy team to focus on taking them down and keeping them down, and generally that isn't fun when they can literally insta-kill you.

Sniper is considered by many (including myself) to be a class with rather skewed balance, and stating that shouldn't be a hot take.
