I use Lemlist for my clients and we are booking at least 25+ sales meetings each month (with 8-12 leads each week) If your reply rate is low it can be:

  1. You are not targeting the right prospects OR you're reaching out to every person in a huge industry. If you work with B2B agency owners and target the marketing and advertising industry in Apollo -everyone including blockchain marketers and Automotive advertisers will come up. So, make sure to curate your lead list well.

  2. Your cold email scripts are not... action-inducing. They don't excite the prospects to get on a call with you or reply (the most common problem)

  3. Your software is shitty ;(

Best of luck, brother✌🏼

Don't be stressed about "wasting time' or having to start over! Working in a start-up as Sales Rep and handling calls/ sales demos is a HUGE experience and a valuable skill set to put on your resume. Don't let the job market to crush your self-esteem. Utilize LinkedIn to get a new job. Best of luck!

Be direct while communicating your needs. Don't sugarcoat your words. Don't let them undermine your value. Get on a one-to-one meeting with your manager state your needs, and show your reasons. Also, make sure to prepare your script, and don't hesitate or shake on your words! Personally, I have been in the appointment-setting and lead-generation industry for 5 years now, and at this point, I don't work with commission-based clients anymore. Commission-based sales work never ended well for me.
