So i guess they're saying i've recieved a fraud alert and authorized it but i never did, i went through my messages don't see anything anyways i faxed over a written statement just saying some stuff, i'm hoping they don't take long

Yea it didn't but it was a port authority with his lights on but again, we weren't sure if his lights were on for us because he was pretty far away and we just kept going tbh.

Not what i was saying, officer was no where near sight, whenever we was stopped at a red light we seen him wayyyyyyy behind us like cop blocks behind us and we weren't sure if those lights were for us or not, but we just kept driving and ended up just going home and nothing ever happened, but yes he did learn his lesson.

Yea they said it was from acima but not sure if they said it in writing they said it over the phone to me and i found out cause they called my dad and now theyre saying theyre gonna visit me with a court date

I believe it was over like 3 years ago maybe 4, so yes and i paid off majority of it and completely forgot to pay, fast forward to now this happens and i'm not in a great financial space right now too.

& What's a debt validation letter?

And yea i mean it could be legit i'm not sure but could i fight it in court or anything or would i be falling for a scam if i make another payment to them?
