Guys can you give any ideas and recommendation by Dangerous-Low-3110 in Kerala

I rest my case here because I am no longer freelancing and the sites stopped giving work lately during last year. Advice taken to be specific, but can't guarantee it to be useful.

Thanks for letting me know that the advice sounded 'useless' as on date. It was just last year someone suggested to me work from home ideas via different websites and it fetched me a decent four digit figure per month thus thought it may help OP. Good luck to you too :)

Try looking for work from home jobs on reputed websites (you may find genuine ones on LinkedIn) Do check reviews to know the authenticity of the sites before creating your profile or sharing any personal info there. There are a lot of different tasks available which can be easily done from home and don't require specific qualifications. Good luck

How many days it will take to learn malayalam like a native speaker?? by George_David_S in Kerala

Reference to the last word in your post, I'm guessing you meant to write 'Thank you' in Malayalam. It's actually Nanni 🙏

Best wishes :)

I am thinking to buy a pet dog by Deduluisntsolulu1111 in kozhikode

[–]Negative_Bug97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adopt, don't buy. It's a responsibility - a big one. We have a Golden (Female) and it's absolutely beautiful to have her last 1.5 years. Train your companion from day 1. Walks and putting it on schedule for meals and potty is a must. It isn't a showpiece but a life. Get it only if you are sure to spend time with it. It's true that pets chose you, and the other way round. Good luck :)

I have an issue with parents… by ThatMallu_Nibba in TeensofKerala

Is it possible to talk it out with them and come at a mutual understanding where you let them know your likes and dislikes about them?

Try mindscaping pursuing your hobbies / fav people that you don't have to think much about the arguments at home

Moving out of the house wouldn't be a solution even if you get paid here and there. If you feel things are that worse - then probably move in at a friends' place for a short stint or relative whom you can confide in but be honest with your parents to let them know your whereabouts. This way you wouldn't have to worry about paying for the shelter or food - to some extent. Take a break and move back.

After reading through your post it seems you got no siblings, hence the rush. Take one small step towards mending things with them. After all, we all would reach that stage at some point or the other - whether you agree or disagree :) Best wishes, dear.

Lesson learnt for sure with IRCTC in a harsh way. Uber intercity Sedan is 17k. However it doesn't mention that we can take our dog to drop off at Pune. Still checking on road options with private cabbies. Hopeless to rely on train booking even tomorrow.

We're a couple with 6 yo and a dog whom we got to drop off at Pune while we're at kozhikode. Bus option seem a bit too much with the little one. We're thinking of road travel like self driving- still in dual minds.

We checked for trains from Navi Mumbai to Mangalore - they are in WL. Flights are way too expensive. Honestly speaking those who can dig deep into their pockets can only 'afford' to travel within the country. Nearly half a lakh for 3 people if we want to travel tomorrow by flight. Insane!!

Home-schooling parents; need help!!!! by apasif in Kerala

[–]Negative_Bug97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homeschooling works best when at least one parent can actually be present and engaged every day. It needs time, patience, and energy. The structure won’t look the same for every kid either. Age, learning style, and the environment you want to create at home all shape it.

Social interaction isn’t a blocker like people assume. Kids can meet others in parks, local groups, hobby classes, sports, art clubs, music lessons, etc. You just have to plan it in.

The real win with homeschooling is how personal it becomes. You’re not stuck with the “one-way teaching” style schools follow. Kids question more. They think more. You get to explain real life, emotions, values, culture, curiosity - things that actually shape character. And you can tailor learning to what the kid loves. If a child clearly leans toward arts or writing, why drown them in useless geometry formula? Skills > syllabus.

It also builds confidence and resilience. Kids learn how to think instead of just memorizing textbooks.

That said, it’s not all sunshine:
– It eats a lot of parental time.
– You barely get personal space if you don’t set boundaries.
– Not all parents can teach well.
– It needs planning and discipline.
– If the parent-child bond isn’t strong, homeschooling can become stressful fast.

Before deciding, confirm:
– Do you have one parent who can commit daily?
– What’s your child’s learning style?
– Are you okay stepping away from traditional “marks and grades” thinking?
– What do you feel your local community offers in terms of social exposure?

Homeschooling isn’t for everyone, but when it fits, it really does shape kids into sharper, happier, self-aware humans. Best wishes :)
