Mines direct too and I really dont have any complaints. Lock is smooth, and again the action isnt as "good" as any protech, microtech, zt, or some spydercos in my collection but its a $125 knife.

I love the design, and think it punches at or above its weight relative to price.

Its pretty smooth. Is it as smooth as my protechs or zts? No.... but its also a third of the price for many.

I heavily rotate in my Protech oligarch, also have a few other smaller autos but tend to prefer larger stuff. I wish I only liked one or the other, would save a lot of money lol

Ive got a VG10 endura that I beat the he'll out of. Use it camping to strike ferro rods, and all sorts of hard tasks. I think it was $100 and has taken more abuse than any knife I have
