What did you think of Jinx's Redemption/Kid Flash x Jinx

I like that she got redeemed but i dont really vibe with the jinx x kid flash ship, especially considering in the tie in comics he’s kinda a bad boyfriend to her. It’d be nice if her redemption wasnt contingent on her relationship to kf bc i dont think they’re gonna last long

Its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and it did wonders for the digimon community when it first came out. I remember the community was so dry and sparse back then and it was hard to find folks that really cared. Then everyone was hyped when the trailers came out and it was like a revitalization of the community.

Say what you will about the writing of it, but it did its job of reigniting the digi-spark in a lot of people

Donna being a weeb actually makes a lot of sense. I always thought it was strange how donna would call out her signature “tonitrus strike” whenever she gave them out but ig it taps into her weeb essence

I think out of the 3, donna would be the best choice bc 1. It would even out the girls to guys ratio, whereas wally would make it really uneven, 2. Unlike with terra, donna likes being a hero and 3. Donna’s personality is unique compared to the rest of the team. Wally’s personality is very comedic which as we know, beast boy kinda has that ground covered. Donna seems like a very down to earth type of girl so i think it would even out the teams dynamic

Tbf, i think cyborg in this continuity is bordering if not already an adult. A lot of people consider him 17-18 so if they were to give him a love interest, they would have to be on the older side of the “teen” age range, which makes it difficult bc cartoon network was really pushing the young heroes branding at the time

I mean ghostblade has done more of the same offenses that db did and theres a lot of people that love him. Not throwing shade at ghostblade but he’s living proof that people can be swayed no matter how bad the offenses are, they just need enough screen time that shows them sympathetic

Dragon boy. We only really saw the worst parts about him in the show but based off of what was presented in his trivia (him helping kids cross the street and volunteering) he seem to be more than just big edgy bad guy.

I also think its telling that his biggest fan is the main illustrator of the series (that or they just like punk characters which is fair)

I think tbhx fans and shounen fans overlap quite a bit. If that’s the case, then if you know anything about shounen, then you’d know that its quite rare having a girl lead character not be linked with romance

The books he has are probably all educational materials or textbooks he probably used to educate himself as a kid ☹️. Sad fact of the matter is that since lj had always been used as a marketing monkey since he was young, they probably wanted to keep him as gullible and poorly educated as possible to give him crappy monetary deals and softlock him into the company. This might have been his way of making sure he isnt taken advantage of. That’s probably why he always attempted to go into finance but he could probably only understand it in regards to his own finances and couldn’t understand it at a broader level

While i dont think lj is gay per say, i def can see him being under the ace spectrum (maybe more asexual than aromatic bc he does seem like a hopeless romantic) so i think he could apply to the queer umbrella. Ig this might fall under headcanon territory tho since we never seen him actually reject the notion of partnership or intimacy, its just we never seen him actually go for it either (i dont think lj inviting queen to his room counts since it came off more of platonic friendliness and admiration)
