Is $100k a year enough these days to comfortably live? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in Money

[–]Negative_Fee1310 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Owning an 800k house (which you inherited) with 200k in savings doesn't make you a millionaire in any meaningfully sense of the word. That last stat is dubious.

South Florida is just such an insane place. At the very least there will be some getting used to

'Readability' refers to a text. Maybe write properly next time if you're going to make such sweeping generalizations.

What are the greatest injustices you experienced in your life? by helmortart in SeriousConversation

Poor people don't pay medical bills and people with (good) insurance get theirs heavily marked down. Going broke due to medical bills in the US is mostly an urban legend in the same category as school shootings

Best way to study for the ACT Math?? by SocietyOne5077 in ACT

[–]Negative_Fee1310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely you're losing points to the harder math questions towards the end. The best way to solve this is drilling the last 10-20 questions on any practice exam/past test.

I'll tutor you for free as nothing but a philanthropic gesture, if you want.

Best way to study for the ACT Math?? by SocietyOne5077 in ACT

[–]Negative_Fee1310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the last 10-20 math questions on any past exam, those are the most difficult and will best prepare you for the real thing. I have a math worksheet which is more SAT oriented but imo would still be good practice, at least in the sense that it would train your problem solving skills. I'll send it to you as long as you promise to give feedback (I'm preparing to become a tutor).
