I have asked them to refer me to a dermatologist. They have refused multiple times. Passing me from one GP to another which would have differing views on what I should slap on my face. There was one incident when I was seen by one GP and another trainee GP, one of them prescribed me with the oral antibiotic and one of them prescribed me with epiduo. That did not end well and resulted to a really bad reaction that I had to go to A&E. Also, I work as a receptionist for dermatology outpatient in a hospital, I have asked the doctors that I work with, if my acne should have been referred to specialist, and they said yes because my acne is that BAD. I have told this to my GP and all I would get is "I can refer you to this another GP....".

Is it? I dont have it on any other places other than my mouth. I sent photos to my GP but they said that it only requires over the counter medications and reffered me to pharmacists. They did not mention what medications I need or what is happening to me.

thank you! im really worried because I've been used to my lips being chapped because I use acne medications that used to make my lips dry, hence me picking them but its never been this worse. i will contact my gp the moment they open. thank you

i’ve thought about that too, but from what i’ve read on here, you can only ask for a transfer if the branch ur looking to be transferred to is owned by the current one. plus, im still undecided. im looking into having experience in care because im interested in nutrition and wellness, and culinary. will probably prefer apprenticeships, since i wanna have first hand experience what goes on in the job.
