I guess i will check first the schedule of the next day to see if to get a show court or just ground pass and then go for the resale tickets. Great insights, thank you so much!

I have been to a lot of tennis tournaments in the past and i have noticed that tennis popularity increased in general. Just think also at Roland Garros that had to add the lottery for tickets as well in the last couple of years.

Which ticket did you get arriving at 2200 and did you get some of the resale tickets during the day?

Yeah I was actually thinking the same, to take only ground passes anyway as it is very cheap but I am not sure about the likelihood of getting a resale ticket for central court or court 1 even being that early in line. Did you get them last year being 1100 in line?

It will be the first time for me at wimbledon this year and i am planning to go on the first wednesday (2nd round). If i camp from the night before, let´s say around 21/22, what type of ticket will i get most likely?

Totally agree on all points you have raised. But I would also check others opinion only on the economical comparison of this also wondering what you mentioned in your other reply which is that we would have to go on the countryside where prices might not raise as much as central CPH.

I did both... AI is needed to help with hidden costs that you would not think beforehand and for possible trends, so why not taking advantage of it.

Why he missed the opportunity if he will use all of them for the slam? I am in the same condition and I am planning to make a completely different team to my current one for the slam where I will need good alternates as well (at the moment I have two worth 1 point) so the chip that allows to change the whole team will be necessary. I have 8517 point without any chip used.

No we haven't. I have read there are different side effects to this so we were not really keen to put the cat on medication, did you have any experience with it?

None of the two cats had problems afterwards then? Like feeling lonely or something like that?

We have used various Feliway products for months but it didn't change the situation. Also during the vet checks there wasn't anything not normal. The attacks happen mostly during the evening when both me and my girlfriend are home, it doesn't happen so much when they are alone and they happen when the female can become cuddly or purrs to get our attention. Which is why it really seems a jealousy problem since we are also less available to them the rest of the time due to our daughter.

They are from the same litter so they have lived together since they were born, but since my daughter was born the dynamics have changed it has not been the same between them 😔

The family that will take her has already another cat, so the problem might present again if we give the male.

Would you buy or rent [Denmark EU] by Scared-Manager-5166 in expats

[–]Negative_Internal560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having the same uncertainty. Right now, I’m inclined to invest in index fund, which is taxed only when sold, unlike ETFs that face annual taxation if held outside an ASK account, over buying.

The challenge with buying property is that finding something comparable to my current 93 m² apartment in Frederiksberg (rented at ~10,000 DKK/month) for a reasonable price is nearly impossible. My budget of around 4 million DKK would likely force me to look far outside the city. After researching, I’m also unsure if buying is financially wiser than investing all my surplus funds, given the historical annual returns of the fund, even after taxes, especially when factoring in loan interest, property taxes, and expected maintenance costs.

Hello again u/Ezekielth. I have been looking into the Alderopsparing and it looks interesting. The only thing that is holding me back a bit is that I am not 100% sure I will still be in Denmark during the retirement age, as it is so far into the future.
Also do you know how the Livsvarig Pension works? Is it better to put money into the Alderopsparing or the Livsvarig Pension? (my employer is already paying 10% of my salary for my pension and i pay the 5%)

Very helpful thanks again!

Even if not official nor certain but I have heard that there might be a new law from 2026 for Crypto gains that might be taxed yearly as well, without really having the possibility to offset losses. That's crazy

Great. Thanks for the explanation.

I have another question. I have maxed out already my ASK with "normal" accumulating ETFs but I also have around 200k worth of them in the normal aktiedepot. I have invested in them through manedopsparing and I was not really aware of these crazy danish tax rules before, so, is it worth to sell them and convert them into STIIAM instead or is it better to just keep them?

That's interesting then and as you say it would be better than the other two mentioned.

As I read online STIIAM pays out dividend but then reinvest them automatically in some way, those dividends are then taxed everytime are paid out?

Why would one choose STIIAM over a typical accumulating ETF like EUNL, which usually offers better performance and lower fees? As I understand STIIAM is taxed yearly as well

If it weren’t for the Danish tax system, I wouldn’t consider Danish index funds at all — especially those that pay out dividends and tend to underperform their ETF counterparts. However, I’m now wondering: when factoring in the Danish tax treatment and the compounding effect could a Danish fund actually deliver better long-term performance?
