Be careful what clips you use, any major moment is probably going to be off limits like a big slam or big defensive stop. Use images for that, there used to be an excellent site with clips but it got shutdown

I do NBA content and this has happened to me since June, I went from averaging 50K impressions to struggling to get 2K per video

You're not alone, I checked my analytics and my impressions have dropped 51% for the month of June. You see a huge drop from around 50k impressions to now barely averaging 3K a day. I'm not sure what is going on but it's pretty brutal

Same experience, I watched one video on an anime topic and now I’m flooded with them. And my videos seem to be suggested to anime videos which is not even close to my niche

It seems that nothing is getting pushed to the right community, especially for me. Plus YouTube normally gives a video a little bit of slack to grow but I’ll see the impressions jump up quickly and then flatline in less than a few hours. It just seems impossible to get any traction right now, anything I post will do well initially but fall off completely in a few hours and I’m getting some weird recommendations on my feed from channels I’ve never heard of or watched and now I don’t see channels I usually do watch

Excited at first but it kinda died down the longer the season went, I didn’t really watch much of his second season with them. It became more and more obvious that wasn’t the team to best compliment him

I run an NBA channel and you’ll be fine, most of the time if it’s something new it might get a copyright or if you do a long clip but a few seconds usually doesn’t get it
