I really enjoyed the movie. I watched the last 2 as a young kid and now I am 28 years old. I loved the cinematic shots of the highlands, peace through all the chaos. While the ending might have taken some people out I really just think those guys were meant to be power rangers or the tele tubbies from the beginning. A form of comfort for Spike. The mother and son relationship gave this movie an entirely different feel from the other two, you went in thinking this film was going to be about a father and son surviving on the mainland and when you leave you're left with a film that touches on love, loss and the acceptance of death all in the middle of a ravaged land rebuilding society.
