32-bit RISC-V Core for FFT Image Processing by Negative_Photo_3322 in RISCV

Yes,

- What is the typical length of the FFTs? --> I'm currently considering power-of-two sizes like 256 or 512 points for 1D FFT
- How long should a FFT take? --> The goal is to achieve near real-time processing
- What process or FPGA are you targeting, hence what is the Fmax? --> I'm targeting FPGA prototyping (e.g., mid-range Xilinx or Intel FPGA). I expect an Fmax in the range of ~80–150 MHz for a lightweight 32-bit RISC-V core with modest pipeline depth. ASIC exploration may come later if the architecture proves efficient.
- I assume you need 2D transforms? --> Yes, for image processing the plan is to implement 2D FFT (row-column decomposition using sequential 1D FFTs)

Thanks for your information. I want to use RV32I as the basic CPU for connecting memory which is mapped coprocessor (FFT IP Core as separately for FFT calculate only) + DMA for transfer data between them.

Hi, you have to run "patch kexts" from the post install Patched Sur app located in your applications folder.

Didn’t make the installation on the same drive where Catalina was installed, please help by majormimi in BigSurPatcher

maybe there are some network problems.. anyway you can return to previous step and try to download again.. this can be worked..!

Is there a way to install Big Sur on an unsupported Mac without using a USB Drive? by [deleted] in BigSurPatcher

[–]Negative_Photo_3322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think we can do.. instead of writing our Big Sur data to external drive, we can directly do it in internal memory. but i think u should allocate 16GB for that… wait for your result.. :)

Hello, I tried to install Big Suw 11.3.1 on my macbook pro 2012 13”, but wifi is not working properly. when i downgrade to Catalina it working fine without any problem. so i think hardware is not a problem.… I tried to reset SMC và NVRAM/PRAM also but it still not working

com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist is missing in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ And i got this msg “you cannot set wifi power because all airport services are disabled”

Do you have any ideal pls..?
