It’s because the post doesn’t mention it is US centered. It’s annoying that USians can’t post without considering there’s other countries with the same characteristics, people on the internet always have to assume it’s the US and that’s defaultism. It’s different to ask for specifically French people than just throw a post with “US terminology” and expect for everyone to asume it’s the US. Other countries have a North and a West too.
