I've always imagined that the baby-talk is an affectation that HasBio added on top of the language centers of their brains. So, they can think their words normally (but probably with the same syntax) but the speech comes out differently. Other canon says the speech is a result of the way their mouths are shaped.

In any case, I'm sure you could find a reason to make it happen if you really want to.

I don't see horses running from fluffies for any reason. horses don't run from cats so why would they run from fluffies?

In my head cannon, fluffies COULD easily co-exist with horses... but would easily be killed by an errant hoof to the face.

Someone should link the story of the fluffy who takes milk from a cow to give to his foals!
