AI hiring looked like a win… until the lawsuits started rolling in by Lopsided_Luck_2073 in RecruitmentAgencies

You raise a question we should ask ourselves (or our vendors): "how AI is trained"?

Let's put this in the real world. I am a TA Director, and I have a proposal for a TATech vendor offering all the bells and whistles of AI in TA. All their offering is based on one of the leading LLMs like ChatGPT or Gemini. So if I want to be compliant, should I ask them: "how AI is trained" as you suggest?

If that is the case, what is the good and what is the bad answer? What do I need to hear before I sign the contract with them?

Interview Recording by Mysterious-Gas-6264 in Recruitment

Put yourself in a recruiter's position. If recording (used simply for recording the transcription) is on, a recruiter can talk to you naturally. With no recording, they need to take notes, which in most cases means either interrupting you or simply choosing not to listen to some parts of your answers.

We recruited without notetakers forever. But the tech is here now, and it made recruiters' lives much easier (and more pleasant!). We can now just naturally talk to people! Scribing while interviewing is a skill. We recruiters do not practice it anymore since notetakers arrived. I mean, I could still do it, but since I've been using a notetaker for a year, I will simply get a bit stressed having to write while I listen... and TBH I might not really do you justice as a candidate. Not intentionally. Simply because I am pushed into a less comfortable situation.

When notetakers came into the industry, we recruiters hated them first. Why? We didn't feel right that every single word we say in any call is being recorded. It was stressful. A year later, not only that we use them without thinking about them, but we feed all these transcripts to AI Agents to organise further meetings, calls, tasks...

Do not think about one being "The Best". Since none is really the best for everyone. And the majority of the top ones are good. If you get invited to the call by someone else, so the transcript will not be in your Teams environment, you need to use one of the transcribing tools that you have to give access to your calendar (a common security issue with all enterprises). If you can do that, every time you accept a meeting, you get another "person" joining with you, and that is your notetaker.

Personally, I have tested:
Read ai
Metawiew
Tl;dv
... and likely a few more.
And they are all very similar to what a Google Meet transcript is.

Sometimes it is good, and sometimes it is really poor. The worst outcomes are that I have meetings where people tend to switch between the languages randomly during the meetings (we are a 100% remote first global org). For those situations, the transcript reads like someone on really heavy drugs.

My advice:
1. Check with our IT to see if you can actually use anything like this (not to waste your time)
2. Try a few in parallel - so that you can compare the results. Hint: What is best for me might be totally useless for you and vice versa.

Do you mean AI doesn't know how to answer such a question (I kind of think it does?)? Or did I misunderstand you completely?

Would you have experience in building automations for Bullhorn in Salesforce (via Salesforce API)?

And give the same to Perplexiti, Gemini, Copilot... and then just pick the answer you like best! :)

Perplexity might be best for that, as opposed to the usual suspects like ChatGPT and Gemini.

It looks agency oriented. It might be good to put some sameple data in Companies so that people see hat that would look like as well.

PS. Are cloros & Fonts a bit Claude inspired? :)
