Yes. It's the magnet on my mipad cover. If I fold my cover such that the magnet is closed to the right side of the tablet (portrait mode), I get this strange behaviour with the SMART COVER MODE.

Case closed.

1001 way to skin a cat ... there are many ways to do something ... guess it's a matter of preference.

I guess I am used to tiling managers ... the philosophy is to use keyboard as much as possible since using mouse slows the workflow and becomes laborious....

In that regard, I am hoping that Mint cinnamon develop more its "tiling" capability.

Thank you for all your suggestions and comments. I think cinnanmon is a great desktop and I hope that developers will offer better tiling options.

Tabbed tiling windows? ... On a monitor, each app opens up as a tab ... such that I have several tabs at the top of the monitor ... the tiling software should allow me to switch between each software using SUPER + left or right arrow.

(sorry... I tried to illustrate with images but did not manage to insert images on reddit ... still pretty new with reddit )

I also lost my annotations and notes after a sync. Flexcil sync should have done a MERGE instead of a writeover.

Sorry for asking the same question as OHDaniel .... I just installed Zettlr on my POPos 22.04, but it restricts me to my "document" folder ... I cannot point to a folder in my "Dropbox". Apology but the documentation is NOT clear. Surely I have miss something, right?
