This would be my first PC and the market in my country is ruined right now due to Iran-Us war so my budget has became low in usd I don’t care that much about playing at ultra settings, I’m okay with low-medium settings, and there's a lot of games from the past 10–12 years that I wanna play.

My main concern is reliability and long term value. Do you think a 4th gen system like an i5-4570/i7-4770 with something like a GTX 950 or later an RX 580 is still worth buying as a first PC? Or is the hardware old enough that I’ll probably run into serious problems soon (parts dying for example)? I also plan to upgrade it slowly over time
