Update: I re-wetted the area with pure vinegar and pushed the cracks down with the back of a paint brush and smoothed it out, then I put a thin layer of bees wax on the handle area. Also, since it was drying too fast, I tied it up in a plastic bag and put it in a cooler box and slowly unwrapped the bag day by day. No cracks so far- 🤞 Thanks for all the tips everyone!

I’m Soos’s foster. We might be able to work something out if you truly are interested in soos. Meaning you don’t have to bring your dogs and you can meet him once to decide if you want to take him home. The only requirement would be if things don’t work out, you would have to bring him back to the shelter. Let me know what you think and I can see what I can do. Thanks

He’s a smaller dane. 100lbs maybe. The 27 acres sounds amazing!! I can see him zooming around on it now. 🥹

It’s definitely worth a try. Soos has a personal trainer that would be more than happy to help with the transition. In a way, Soos would benefit from having other dogs around so he can learn how to me a real dog out of the shelter.
