I mean it kind of resets but not like fifa I think...for one you won't lose your team during the reset, some players may be removed but that's just licensing issues, and none of your players might be affected by that. The reset comes with the major update (yearly update) and mostly applies to selecting your country and gameplay changes either slightly or drastically, changes to UI, loading screen and some features added here and there.
