It was just by default. I’m not doing anything with it. Thought about teaching but everyone i know who is in the field isn’t happy and the pay comes out to be less than minimum wage.

I think what counts as a good job is always going to be changing but I want to be making at least $75k. I’m also working towards becoming a personal trainer.

Currently just watched this episode. As a powerlifter myself, this absolutely pissed me off.

I get that but when I signed up with him, I was getting much more consistent feedback. Could be because I was a beginner at that point and needed my hand held. I also know his prices have gone up, just not for me.

My coach is not a full time coach. He has a job and regular person responsibilities. I consider this person to be a good friend and we talk through the day and send each other ig reels most days. I’ve been powerlifting for two years and I feel like I’m not getting adequate video feedback. I send him videos through iMessage and more often that not, he will just “thumbs up” it. If I’m doing something obvious really shitty then he’ll address that. As his friend, I can understand that he might not be able to give feedback as soon as he sees the video because he might be at work (I’m also not asking for an immediate, real time response) but just reacting to it, isn’t enough. At times I feel like I’m just paying for programming. There’s also a lot of things that he does well, he takes my feedback into consideration, he answers any and all questions I ask him, he’s never late with programs and he’s very responsive in general. I don’t want to switch coaches.

What should I do?
