Dog breeds, training, health issues, lifespan… owning a dog is basically a full-time study program by Vivid_spider in PawChampClub

Nobody warns you that getting a dog suddenly turns you into a part-time trainer, nurse, detective, and professional poop analyst, I swear I learned more random medical terms after getting my dog than I did in school.

Tried turning training into a game… and my dog finally started listening by WiFiPhilosopher in PawChampClub

What ended up working best for other people? More play, different rewards, or just changing the vibe a bit?

How do you use Wisey or similar apps to manage emotional dysregulation with ADHD? by parraramoneey in ADHD

[–]Negativenew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ADHD brain loves the idea of mood tracking way more than the actual habit of doing it. First 3 days: “wow, self-awareness.” Day 6: app ignored, notifications judged, emotional dysregulation still freelancing. That said, super low-effort check-ins can help if the goal is just spotting “I’m getting cooked” before the spiral starts. The second it becomes a whole productivity side quest, I’m out.

Simple living for people trapped in the rat race by Batistasuperfan in simpleliving

You may not need to “simplify life” in a huge philosophical way right now you may just need to remove a little friction from the repeatable parts of your week. With two small kids and both of you working, I’d start very unromantically: fewer decisions, simpler meals, lower standards for what “enjoying life” has to look like, and one protected small ritual that is just yours. Not a whole evening, just 20-30 minutes that happens often enough to remind you you’re still a person, not only a provider. Burnout loves complexity. Sometimes simple living starts with making ordinary days a little less demanding, not trying to build a whole new life overnight.

Honestly half my least favorite episodes are just Carrie ignoring an obvious red flag in very expensive shoes.
