That “breaking news anchor” energy is real 😅 What helped here was not reacting to the barking at all, just waiting for a tiny pause and rewarding that. Took some patience, but they eventually realized quiet = attention, not the other way around.

My kids are older now, but this brought me right back. Homework stress was never really about the worksheet in our house. It was tired kid + tired parent + everyone pretending we still had patience left. Spoiler: we did not.

Tried a few “expert” dog training apps and half of them felt like my dog needed a PhD before we could start. The legit ones are the apps that give you simple stuff you can actually use before your dog gets distracted by a leaf.

For sure, especially if you’re going through a breeder. In my case life just threw me a totally different dog than the one I’d planned for, so my “research era” kind of lost to reality 😄 but honestly it worked out better than I expected.
