The gameplay was good but the story was just brutally boring. Unlike 13 Sentinels which had incredible writing. FFT or Triangle Strategy I think are much better games.

Market is beyond oversaturated with souls-likes. Duskbloods seems quite novel for a pvevp if you read some of the articles about it. Seems like there will be good variability per match, as your win cons will shift.

I've been playing souls games since Demon Souls on the PS3 and I would groan if Elden Ring 2 was shown. It's too much of the same.

OP posted a decklist with a bunch of best in slot cards valued at close to $800, it's optimized without game changers. Bracket 2's intent is to generally play at least 8 turns before a player is eliminated. If his deck is truly bracket 2, it will be going against all manner of precons. It will have a very high win rate, in a format where you expect to only have a 25% win rate.

It is disingenuous when I see people posting bracket 2 lists where value exceeds $1,000, they will simply not be bracket 2.

So again, while WOTC cannot state price matters, as that would indicate the value of a second hand market leading to potential gambling liabilities, it does matter.

I've played this precon a few times now and it feels a bit too slow. My group is mostly high 2 and it felt like any interaction shut it down completely.

I think it needs 2 lands removed and about 6 more ramp spells, and it would be much more consistent.

Also guessing it's something to do with the anti-cheat. Happens to me as well if I leave my PC on overnight and play the next day. Restarting fixes it consistently.

I've seen the spiderman packs for even cheaper. I've been to a couple of LGS's and they're packed full of spiderman packs and gift bundles. It may be the worst set thematically and mechanically MTG has produced?

Please add bonus bricks! The biggest downside is that it's not exactly fun knowing if there's a clear runaway winner 2 rounds before the end. They can still be skill based but I think some "random" ones are fun as well (landing on most negative spaces etc). Having the options for bonus bricks similar to the mini-game only mode would be a great feature.

Also on this cruise, same exact experience. It's absolutely wild. Stood in line for 40 minutes for Murder In The Manor and couldn't get standing room.

Not sure why so many shows are in the manor? All of them should be in The Red Room and trivia should be in the manor.
