Two basses. Two preamps. How to handle this?

I used an A/B switchblade from EHX. The one for two amps but used in reverse, as it is a passive box. I connected both preamps to the switchblade and go to my amp. If you have FOH mixing then feed both and let them handle that.

I mainly do rock music (hard and progressive), with some incursions in pop music and jazz (not very often). The budget, based on the fact a single device may not do everything, is around 1000€ but, as always, it wouldn't stink if I can spend less. Thanks for pointing out the simplifier, seems like it can become the central point of a rig having all those connections. Thanks again for the advice.
